Leading end-to-end UX discovery across 20–30 stakeholders in state and city government financial departments — synthesizing complex current-state processes into findings that shaped product direction for a major ERP platform upgrade.
CGI's Human Centered Design team embeds with clients ahead of major software implementations to understand how they actually work — before any configuration or development begins. I led discovery across three Advantage CGI government clients in 2021: a 15-week state engagement on budgeting processes, a 10-week state engagement on financial operations, and an 8-week city engagement on timesheets and requisitions.
Each engagement followed the same core process: structured kickoff, contextual inquiry interviews across every role in the process, synthesis and current-state mapping, stakeholder validation workshops, and a 40–60 page findings deliverable used by both the client and CGI's implementation team.
I led more than half of the interviews across all three engagements and was the primary author on each deliverable. The work sharpened my ability to move between user needs and technical constraints — and to facilitate those conversations in rooms where they don't always naturally happen.
